It is a great honor to receive the Ingrid Nickelsen Trust "Outstanding Woman Artist Award" as a graduating BFA student, 2021.

This award supports women artists of Humboldt County, CA, carrying on the legacy of

Ingrid Nickelsen: a strong, independent, spiritually-minded female artist.

Her close group of female artists supported one another in transformation: through and with art.

They carry on her wishes, and I am deeply moved to be included in this legacy.

May I do the same to support those with me, and those yet to realize, that 'yes they can'.
